Founder & CEO of Aiconic

Carlos Adell

Carlos builds marketing back ends around real lives. The owner who cannot answer a lead at 2pm because they are on a job. The customer who asked one question and deserves an answer before dinner. Every system FirstOnTheMap ships starts from that picture, not from a dashboard.

The record, not the resume.

Founder pages usually list credentials. Carlos would rather you judge the company he built and the way it treats the people who pay it. So here is the record his model has produced.

Why Aiconic exists

It started with invoices nobody could explain.

Before Aiconic had a name, it had a pattern. Owners kept showing Carlos marketing invoices and asking the same question: what did this actually buy me? The reports said impressions. The bank account said nothing.

Looking closer, the problem was almost never the ads themselves. It was everything behind them. Inquiries sat unanswered for hours while the owner was on a job. Follow-up depended on whoever remembered. Tracking stopped at the click, so nobody could say which dollar became revenue and which one evaporated.

Agencies kept selling the front end, more traffic, more creative, more channels, because the front end is what agencies know how to invoice. The back end, where revenue actually lives or dies, belonged to no one.

So Carlos built the company backwards. Diagnose the whole funnel first, for a fee that gets credited back, so the findings answer to the client and not to a pipeline. Fix the back end before buying traffic. Build every system around the real life it has to serve. And put the findings in writing so the client can hold Aiconic accountable line by line.

FirstOnTheMap is the brand Aiconic runs that model under for home service and professional service companies.

An owner doing two million a year should not lose a customer because a phone rang during a job. That is not a marketing problem. That is a back end nobody bothered to build. We build it.

Carlos Adell
How he runs the company

The same order, every engagement.

Carlos holds the company to one sequence because the sequence is what protects the client's budget. Nothing gets prescribed until the $1,000 diagnostic has found where revenue leaks, and the fee is credited in full to the first month of any program.

He runs the build side with John Bryan, partner and CTO, who owns the systems the clients run on. Crys Abarientos, Shin Llanes, RJ Cabana and Erica keep the team, the projects, the systems and the support on cadence across 30+ specialists.

01

Diagnose before prescribe

No tactic gets sold on a first call. The diagnostic maps the funnel end to end and puts a number on every leak, in writing.

02

Back end before traffic

Follow-up, conversion and tracking get fixed first, because buying traffic on top of a leak is buying a bigger leak.

03

Client money stays client money

Ad spend goes from the client directly to the platforms. Never through FirstOnTheMap, never marked up, accounts always owned by the client.

04

Report in revenue

Monthly reporting in inquiries, booked work and revenue by channel. What underperforms gets cut. What earns gets more.

What he believes about the work

Five convictions, held in public.

These are the filters Carlos runs the company through. If they read like your side of the argument with your last agency, we will probably get along.

  • The back end is where revenue dies quietly.

Nobody notices the inquiry that waited four hours or the quote that never got a follow-up. Those losses never appear on an agency report, and they cost more than any ad budget.

  • A system must fit the life, not the reverse.

If a process only works when the owner is at a desk, it is already broken. Good systems assume the owner is on a roof, in a meeting, or at their kid's game, and keep working anyway.

  • Free audits answer to the pipeline that produced them.

A free audit exists to find reasons you should buy. A paid diagnostic, credited back when you join, exists to find the truth. The fee is what makes the findings yours.

  • Accountability is a structure, not a promise.

Findings in writing, spend paid direct, reporting in revenue. Anyone can promise accountability. Carlos builds engagements where avoiding it is structurally impossible.

  • Saying no fast is part of the service.

FirstOnTheMap works with businesses doing $750K to $10M+ because that is where the model provably works. If a business is not a fit, the honest answer arrives on the first call, with a pointer to a better option.

The philosophy

The business grows. The life grows with it.

I kept Aiconic small on purpose. A hands-on team you can name, not a factory with an account queue. That is the only way I know to do careful work.

Our clients are not beginners. They built something real, it already makes money, and what they want back now is their time.

Because every one of those businesses sits inside a life. A family at the table. Hours promised to someone who is counting on them. That is what the back end is really for. We build it so the business grows and the life grows with it.

The philosophy is free. The diagnosis is $1,000.

Book a discovery call. If the fit is right, the diagnostic finds where your revenue leaks and the fee is credited in full to your first month. If it is not, you will hear that on the call.
